About Me

I tend to live in my own world most of the time and used to constantly change my mind about what I wanted to do when "I was older". I had dreams of joining the glitzy world of PR, becoming a radio DJ, a TV presenter or owning my own boutique, my own chocolate shop or even becoming a fashion designer... Who knew?

I am now a Writing Fashion and Culture 2:1 BA (Hons) graduate trying to get into the competitive world of fashion PR. (The other dreams are still there!)

Two things I'm sure of right now is that firstly I owe everything to my Mum, who is also my best friend and most incredible person for everything she's accomplished in life.

The other is that although life at the moment seems harsh, unfair and confusing, I know that I am embarking on this future with my other best friend and love my of life, T and this makes me the luckiest girl in the world!

I lived in a student doss house with three of my amazing friends/now extended family - once you live with people for as long as we did, you end up seeing and hearing every detail about each other (some unfortunate sights/stories that may require therapy to repress...) so you start to love them like family because if you didn't you would ditch them! Our house was disgusting and we were always moaning at each other; we distracted each other from work and justified skipping lectures together tending to get disgustingly drunk instead, but life wouldn't have been the same without them!

I've now moved back home to London to live with my Mum (IT'S RENT FREE!!) whilst I intern, send daily job applications and experience life on the dole.

The biggest lesson I've learned so far is that you never know what's around the corner but that's actually what makes it all the more exciting. This blog will follow me as I start my journey into the big bad world of grown-ups!
